His Excellency Dr. Abdul Basir Anwar Participates in Tashkent Law Spring Forum
The International Law Spring Forum convened on 25th to 27th of April 2019 in Tashkent Uzbekistan for a period of three days in which the ministers of justice, representatives of international law organizations, professors and lecturers of international universities and justice experts participated.
In this conference held under the title of “Law in the Era of Rapid Modernization", exchange of views and speeches were delivered on the issues such as good governance, ensuring the rule of law and reform of justice and legal system and the role of mediation in civil cases.
On the brink of this conference, H.E. the Minister of Justice, held separate meetings and discussions with H.E. Ruslanbek Davletov- Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan, and H.E. Melov Khodayar- Deputy Justice Minister of Uzbekistan, H.E Edwin Tang Minister of Justice of Singapore, H.E. Mark Apel- Member of International Dispute Resolution Center and the Head of International Development Programs at American University of Petersburg.
In the meeting with Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan, both sides exchanged views on issues such as extradition of criminals between the two countries, joint- collaboration in the fight against trafficking of migrants and the sharing of proficient experiences amongst relevant members of ministries of both countries.
