Closure of Six Real Estate Agencies Due to Law Violations in Nangarhar Province

The Nangarhar Justice Department, after inspecting the real estate agencies in the fifth district of Jalalabad, closed down six of them owing to the lack of operating licenses.
The Nangarhar Board of Justice Department closely inspected 31 real estate agencies in the city of Jalalabad on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, as a result of which the six offices were closed due to lack of operating licenses.
The head of the Nangarhar Justice Department, while inspecting the offices of the real estate agencies, said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan does not allow offices that used to operate without any legal documents until they obtain licenses.

So far, the activity of real estate agencies in 5 districts of Nangarhar Province has been closely examined and a total of 103 offices have been closed owing to the violations of law and lack of legal documents. The Nangarhar Justice Department has also collected nearly one million afghanis in revenue by distributing and renewing its operating licenses to real estate agencies and deposited it in the treasury of the Islamic Emirate.
