Cancellation of the Licenses of 6 Property Dealers in Kabul
The licenses of 6 property dealers in different areas of Kabul city have been cancelled by the Ministry of Justice as per the provisions of Property Dealers Law, due to the reason these licenses have not been renewed in its due time.
Paragraph 4 of article 14 of the Law on Property Dealers, provides that “whenever the owners of licenses do not renew their licenses within 45 days, the Department of Mobilization of the Ministry of Justice shall be obliged to cancel their licenses and remove their names from the concerned list, after making sure that the tax liabilities have been settled.”
Furthermore, in accordance with this law, police, municipality and other relevant entities shall be obliged to lock the offices of property dealers in order to prevent unlawful activities, including the waste of public revenues and the deception of citizens of the country. Moreover, mentioned entities need to ask the owners of property dealers to attend the Department of Mobilization of the Ministry of Justice to settle their tax liabilities and process the cancellation of their licenses.
The Cancelled Licenses of Property Dealers are as follow:
Sohail Qurayshi Property Dealer, license no: 808, located in Daash hai Haji Ghulam Hussain, sixth police district;
Loya Pakhtunkhwa Property Dealer, license no: 818, located in the Second Block of Arzan Qimmat, twelfth police district;
Emad Aman Property Dealer, license no: 819, located in Golae Mosque, eleventh police district;
Shaista Logar Property Dealer, license no: 821, located in eighth police district;
Naqibullah Mohammady Property Dealer, license no: 827, located behind the Coca-Cola Company, eightth police district;
Omar Brothers Property Dealer, license no: 839, located in Karte-Char, ninth police district;
The licenses of Property Dealers remain valid for a period of three years; however the aforementioned property dealers have not proceeded to renew their licenses within the due period of time. The Ministry of Justice anticipates that Kabul Police HQ, municipality and other relevant entities according to the Law on Property Dealers, will take appropriate action to prevent the unlawful activities of property dealers with expired or without license.
