Ministry of Justice has Issued 64 Activity Licenses to the Charity Foundations over the Course of Last 9 Months
Ministry of justice has issued 64 activity licenses to charity foundations out of which 59 licenses were new and 5 other licenses have been renewed.
These licenses were processed and issued by the general cohesion office of ministry of justice. Meanwhile, this ministry issued union licenses to 27 applicants out of which 25 were new licenses and 2 remaining were renewed.
During the period of this time, the ministry of justice collected an amount of 875 thousand Afghanis revenue of 91 issued licenses to the unions and charity foundations and the money was deposited to the treasury of Islamic Emirates.
Meanwhile, the audit board of the cohesion directorate of ministry of justice overseen the performances of 53 unions and charity foundations, and more than 40 unions and charity foundations were identified as non-operating unions and charity foundations.
This directorate provided some facilities in the areas of documents processing and registration of unions and charity foundations. These facilities include reduction in banking statement from 2 million Afghanis to 5 hundred thousand Afghanis payable by the applicants of licenses for charity foundations, creation of a regular database for the registered unions and charity foundation in this office and granting union-activity licenses to the real persons in professional, guild and expertise fields.
